The goal of this study is to determine the most effective way to give radiation therapy to patients with prostate cancer, aiming to control the cancer while reducing treatment side effects. Researchers are exploring different radiation techniques to find the best approach for patients.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Have prostate cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body.
  • Be classified as having unfavorable intermediate, high, or very high-risk prostate cancer based on specific medical guidelines.
  • Be considered a suitable candidate by the radiation oncologist for both types of radiation therapy being studied: HDR brachytherapy boost and SBRT.
