Study on Belzutifan and Zanzalintinib for Treating Advanced Kidney Cancer (Renal Cell Carcinoma)

Sponsor: Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC

Sponsor score: 40

ClinicalTrials ID:NCT07489495

This clinical trial is exploring whether combining two targeted therapies, Belzutifan and Zanzalintinib, can improve outcomes for people with advanced kidney cancer compared to using Belzutifan alone.

Patient Parameters

Program Overview

Researchers are investigating new treatments for advanced kidney cancer, known as renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The study is testing whether adding a new targeted therapy, Zanzalintinib, to the existing treatment with Belzutifan can help more patients live longer and prevent the cancer from worsening, compared to using Belzutifan alone. Targeted therapies are designed to specifically attack cancer cells and stop them from growing and spreading.
