Study on the Safety and Effects of GDC-1261 in Patients with Advanced or Metastatic Prostate Cancer

Inclusion Criteria

• Have a performance status score of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
• Have a life expectancy of at least 3 months.
• Have a confirmed diagnosis of prostate adenocarcinoma.
• Show disease progression during or after the last treatment.
• Be undergoing ongoing hormone therapy or have had surgical removal of the testicles.
• Have cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
• Have adequate organ function as determined by specific medical tests.

Exclusion Criteria

• Have received any approved cancer treatment within 14 days or 5 times the drug's half-life.
• Have unstable bone lesions that could lead to fractures.
• Have untreated cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord.
• Have uncontrolled pain.
• Have had another cancer within the past 5 years.
• Have an infection requiring IV antibiotics within 14 days or oral antibiotics within 7 days before screening, or show signs of current infection.
• Have any medical condition or abnormal lab result that could make participating in the study unsafe or affect the study results.
