Program Overview

The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness and safety of two medication combinations for treating chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in adults who have not been treated before. One group will receive sonrotoclax and zanubrutinib, while the other group will receive venetoclax and acalabrutinib. Researchers want to find out which combination works better and is safer for patients.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adults who have been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and need treatment.
  • Have not received any previous treatment for CLL.
  • Have a performance status score of 0, 1, or 2, meaning fully active or with some restrictions in physical activity.
  • Have measurable disease as shown by CT or MRI scans.
  • Have good bone marrow and organ function.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have received any previous treatment for CLL.
  • Have a type of leukemia called prolymphocytic leukemia or have had or are suspected to have a condition called Richter's transformation.
  • Have cancer that has spread to the central nervous system.
  • Have a history of a brain infection called progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML).
  • Have uncontrolled high blood pressure or significant heart disease.
