Patient Parameters

Program Overview

The aim of this study is to determine if it is safe and possible to give rituximab, a study drug, directly into the spinal canal along with chemotherapy drugs like methotrexate. This approach is being tested to see if it can help prevent the cancer from coming back in the central nervous system for patients with CD20+ Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Have CD20 positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
  • Currently receiving treatment with systemic rituximab combined with CHOP, CHOEP, or EPOCH chemotherapy.
  • Considered at high risk for cancer returning in the central nervous system and eligible for preventive treatment with intrathecal therapy.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have primary central nervous system lymphoma or already have secondary central nervous system disease.
  • Have a history of spinal surgery or are not eligible for injections into the spinal canal.
