Study on Standard Chemotherapy and Bevacizumab With or Without INCA33890 for First-Line Treatment of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer

This clinical trial is testing the effectiveness and safety of standard chemotherapy and bevacizumab, with or without the addition of INCA33890, for treating metastatic colorectal cancer that is microsatellite stable.

Program Overview

The aim of this study is to determine how well standard chemotherapy and bevacizumab, with or without the new drug INCA33890, work in treating patients with metastatic colorectal cancer that is microsatellite stable. Researchers are also evaluating the safety of these treatments when used as the first line of therapy.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Have stage IV colorectal cancer that cannot be surgically removed.
  • Have not received any prior systemic treatment for cancer that has spread or cannot be removed.
  • May have had previous treatment if the cancer did not return within 12 months after finishing.
  • Have cancer that can be measured using standard criteria.
  • Be in good overall health with a performance status of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
  • Have adequate organ function based on lab tests.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have a specific type of genetic instability in the cancer known as MSI-H/dMMR.
  • Have a specific genetic mutation called BRAF V600E.
  • Have untreated or worsening cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord.
  • Have had another type of cancer within the past 2 years.
  • Have been treated with certain immune therapies in the past 3 years.
  • Have an active autoimmune disease that needed treatment in the past 2 years.
  • Have any significant or uncontrolled medical conditions.
  • Have had an organ transplant, including stem cell transplants.

Other specific criteria may apply.
