Program Overview
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a new drug called GSK5471713 in adults with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to hormone therapy. Researchers will assess how the drug is processed in the body, its effects on the cancer, and any potential benefits or risks associated with its use.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Have advanced prostate cancer confirmed by lab tests.
- Cancer must have progressed despite ongoing hormone therapy.
- Be in good overall health with an ECOG performance status of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
- Have previously tried hormone therapy and at least one other treatment for prostate cancer.
Exclusion Criteria
- Have a type of prostate cancer other than adenocarcinoma, such as small cell or neuroendocrine carcinoma.
- Have significant heart problems or other serious medical conditions.
- Have uncontrolled infections or significant lab abnormalities.
- Have previously received certain targeted therapies for prostate cancer.
