This clinical trial is testing a new treatment combination of MRTX849 and cetuximab against standard chemotherapy for patients with advanced colorectal cancer that has a specific genetic mutation called KRAS G12C.

Program Overview

The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of a new treatment combination, MRTX849 and cetuximab, with standard chemotherapy in patients who have advanced colorectal cancer with a KRAS G12C mutation. This trial is for patients who have already received one type of chemotherapy and whose cancer has continued to grow.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of colorectal cancer with a KRAS G12C mutation.
  • Have previously received first-line treatment for advanced colorectal cancer with a chemotherapy regimen that included either oxaliplatin or irinotecan.
  • Have evidence that the cancer has progressed after the first-line treatment.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have previously received treatment targeting the KRAS G12C mutation.
  • Have previously been treated with anti-EGFR antibodies like cetuximab or panitumumab.
  • Have active cancer that has spread to the brain.
