Program Overview

The purpose of this study is to see if the (18)F-rhPSMA-7.3 PET-CT scan can improve the detection of serious prostate cancer in men who have uncertain results from an MRI scan. These uncertain results are classified as PIRADS 2 or PIRADS 3, which indicate areas on the prostate that might be cancerous but are not clearly identified. Researchers want to find out if this new scan is more effective than relying on MRI results alone for deciding whether to perform a biopsy.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Men aged 18 or older who are willing to sign a consent form and follow study procedures.
  • Have not had a prostate biopsy before.
  • Had a pelvic MRI scan within the last 90 days to check for possible prostate cancer.
  • Scheduled for a targeted biopsy using MRI and ultrasound guidance.
  • Have PIRADS 2 or 3 findings on the prostate as identified by a certified radiologist.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Previously diagnosed with prostate cancer.
  • Have any medical condition that might affect the study results or prevent participation.
  • Participated in another clinical trial within the last 30 days.
  • Allergic to the substances used in the PET-CT scan.
