Program Overview

The aim of this study is to find out if using two drugs together, relatlimab and nivolumab, works better than using just nivolumab by itself for treating melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of Stage III (unresectable) or Stage IV melanoma, according to the AJCC staging system.
  • Have not received any previous systemic treatment for melanoma that cannot be removed or has spread.
  • Provide a sample of tumor tissue from a site that cannot be removed or has spread for biomarker testing.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Do not have active cancer spread to the brain or the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord.
  • Do not have uveal melanoma, a type of eye cancer.
  • Do not have any active, known, or suspected autoimmune diseases.

Other specific criteria may apply.
