This study is focused on ensuring the continued safety and tolerability of the drug avelumab for patients with solid tumors who are already receiving this treatment as part of a previous study.

Program Overview

The purpose of this study is to keep monitoring the safety and how well patients tolerate avelumab, a medication used to treat solid tumors. This is for patients who are already part of a previous study involving avelumab and are continuing with the same treatment plan.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Currently participating in an avelumab study sponsored by EMD Serono Research & Development Institute, Inc. / Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, or Merck Serono Co., Ltd (Japan).
  • Currently receiving avelumab treatment or in long-term follow-up after treatment in a previous study.
  • Agree to use highly effective birth control methods if there is a risk of pregnancy for both men and women on active treatment.
  • Other specific criteria defined by the study may apply.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
  • Known allergy to any ingredients in the study treatment for those still on active treatment.
  • Enrolled in the comparison group of the previous avelumab study.
  • Withdrawn from the previous avelumab study for any reason.
  • Any other reason determined by the study doctor that would prevent participation.
  • Other specific criteria defined by the study may apply.
