Program Overview

The aim of this study is to explore whether the experimental drug BMS-986253, when used with Nivolumab or with both Nivolumab and Ipilimumab, can be effective in treating people with advanced cancers. These are cancers that have spread, come back, or cannot be removed by surgery.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of an advanced solid tumor that has spread, returned, or cannot be surgically removed, and can be measured by scans.
  • Have at least one tumor that can be biopsied.
  • Be in good overall health, with a performance status score of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have cancer that has only spread to the brain, unless the brain metastases are controlled.
  • Have an active autoimmune disease or a condition that requires treatment with high doses of steroids or other immune-suppressing drugs within 14 days before starting the study.
  • Have a known history of HIV or AIDS.
  • Have received cytotoxic chemotherapy or other anti-cancer treatments within four weeks before starting the study.
  • Other specific criteria may apply as defined by the study protocol.
