This study aims to identify and treat people in South Florida who have an infection called Helicobacter Pylori (H. pylori), which can lead to stomach issues like gastritis, ulcers, and even stomach cancer. By treating those who test positive, the study hopes to prevent these serious conditions.

Program Overview
Helicobacter Pylori (H. pylori) is a stomach infection that can cause long-term stomach inflammation, ulcers, and even stomach cancer. This study is focused on screening individuals in South Florida for H. pylori and providing treatment to those who test positive. The goal is to prevent the development of gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric cancer by treating the infection early.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Adults aged 18 years and older
Exclusion Criteria
- Individuals with a history of stomach cancer
- Those who have been treated for H. pylori before and confirmed to be free of the infection
- Individuals unable to give consent or unable to consent in their preferred language
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those planning to become pregnant or breastfeed
- Prisoners
- Individuals allergic or unable to take the medication VOQUEZNA® Triple Pak® or its components, including vonoprazan, amoxicillin, clarithromycin, or similar drugs
- Individuals currently taking certain medications, such as those for HIV, heart rhythm problems, cholesterol, or diabetes, among others
- Individuals with certain health conditions, like severe liver or kidney problems, or heart rhythm issues
