Program Overview
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of a new drug called BMS-986517 in adults with advanced solid tumors. This is a first-in-human study, meaning it is the first time this drug is being tested in people. Researchers want to understand how the drug affects the body and if it can be safely used in patients with different types of solid tumors.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must be in good overall health with an ECOG performance status of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
- Must have a measurable tumor that can be tracked using standard criteria.
- Must have a confirmed diagnosis of advanced solid tumors that cannot be surgically removed or have spread to other parts of the body, including types like non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck cancer (HNSCC), triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), and hormone receptor-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer.
Exclusion Criteria
- Must not have untreated cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord. Participants are eligible if these metastases have been treated and are stable.
- Must not have another active cancer that requires treatment or a history of cancer that was active within the last two years.
- Must not have a history of serious recurring infections.
- Must not have severe heart problems or impaired heart function.
- Other specific criteria may apply as defined by the study protocol.
