Study on Tarlatamab for Treating Prostate Cancer

This clinical trial is exploring whether the drug tarlatamab can effectively treat prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and has either returned after treatment or not responded to treatment.

Program Overview

The purpose of this study is to determine if tarlatamab is an effective treatment for prostate cancer that is positive for Delta-like Protein 3 (DLL3) and has spread to other parts of the body. The study focuses on cases where the cancer has either come back after treatment or has not responded to previous treatments.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have prostate cancer confirmed by lab tests.
  • Cancer must have spread to other parts of the body, as shown by specific imaging tests.
  • Must have low testosterone levels if receiving hormone therapy, unless diagnosed with a specific type of prostate cancer called small cell NEPC.
  • Must have shown progression on at least one previous treatment for metastatic cancer.
  • Must have DLL3 positive cancer, confirmed by a tumor biopsy.
  • Must have normal organ function and acceptable blood test results.
  • Must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 60 days after the last dose of the study drug.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Cannot have another type of cancer that could interfere with the study.
  • Cannot have uncontrolled high blood pressure or recent major heart problems.
  • Cannot have active hepatitis B or C, or HIV with a detectable viral load.
  • Cannot have a history of certain lung diseases or autoimmune diseases requiring treatment in the past two years.
  • Cannot have received certain treatments or medications close to the start of the study.
  • Cannot have had major surgery recently or be using medications that could interact with the study drug.
  • Cannot have an allergy to any of the study drugs.
