Study on Daraxonrasib for Patients with Surgically Removed Pancreatic Cancer

Program Overview
The study aims to find out if the new drug daraxonrasib can help patients live longer without their pancreatic cancer coming back after surgery. It compares the effects of taking the drug to simply observing patients who have already had chemotherapy before or after their surgery.
Description
This is a Phase 3 study conducted worldwide to see if daraxonrasib can improve the time patients remain free of pancreatic cancer after surgery, compared to just being monitored. Patients who have had their pancreatic cancer surgically removed and have completed chemotherapy are eligible to participate. The study will assess the safety and effectiveness of daraxonrasib in preventing cancer recurrence.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must be 18 years or older and agree to participate in the study.
- Must be in good general health, able to carry out normal activities or light work.
- Must have had pancreatic cancer confirmed by lab tests and successfully removed by surgery, with no signs of cancer spread.
- Must have completed chemotherapy before or after surgery.
- Must have finished the last treatment within the past 12 weeks.
- Must have good organ function, including healthy bone marrow, liver, and kidneys.
- Must have a documented RAS gene mutation.
- Must be able to take pills by mouth.
Exclusion Criteria
- Have previously received treatments that directly target the RAS gene.
- Have any conditions that might interfere with taking or absorbing the study medication.
- Have had major surgery within the last 28 days before starting the study.
- Are unable or unwilling to attend study visits or follow study procedures.
