This clinical trial is comparing the effectiveness of different approved treatments for Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (NMIBC). It will look at how well the drug nadofaragene firadenovec works compared to other standard treatments like gemcitabine, mitomycin, BCG, or pembrolizumab.

Program Overview

The aim of this study is to see how well different treatments work for Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (NMIBC). Researchers will compare the FDA-approved drug nadofaragene firadenovec with other standard treatments recommended by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). These treatments include gemcitabine, with or without docetaxel, mitomycin, re-treatment with BCG, or pembrolizumab.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Currently receiving treatment for high-grade NMIBC (Tis, Ta, or T1) with a participating urologist at MSK.
  • Have had at least one prior course of BCG treatment, and the urologist believes BCG has not worked.
    • Any amount of maintenance BCG treatment is acceptable.
  • In the past year, have received at least one dose of any bladder cancer treatment directly into the bladder or one dose of systemic therapy for NMIBC.
    • This can include BCG or any other NMIBC treatment.
  • The urologist believes there is no reason not to use nadofaragene firadenovec (such as allergies to IFNa or severe immune system issues) and is unsure if it is better than the usual care.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Choosing to have surgery to remove the bladder (radical cystectomy).
  • Currently participating in another clinical trial for NMIBC.
  • Have previously been treated with nadofaragene firadenovec.
