Program Overview
The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of combining Ramucirumab with Paclitaxel in patients with gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma who have already received chemotherapy. Doctors can contact the study organizers if they believe a patient meets the criteria to participate.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, including cases where the cancer involves the lower esophagus.
- Previously treated with chemotherapy that included platinum or fluoropyrimidine drugs, such as cisplatin, carboplatin, oxaliplatin, 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), or capecitabine.
- Previous use of trastuzumab is allowed for patients with HER2+ cancer.
- Eligible for chemotherapy and in good overall health, with a performance status score of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
Exclusion Criteria
- Known allergy to any of the treatment components.
