Study on Dara-RVd Induction Therapy for Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma with Stem Cell Transplant

This clinical trial is testing a new schedule for a combination treatment called Dara-RVd, used before stem cell transplantation in patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. Program Overview
This Phase II study is exploring a new way to give a combination of drugs, including daratumumab, lenalidomide, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (known as Dara-RVd), to patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma who are eligible for a stem cell transplant. The standard approach involves giving bortezomib twice a week, which can be inconvenient and may cause side effects like nerve damage. This study is testing if giving bortezomib once a week is just as effective and easier for patients to manage.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must provide written consent to participate and agree to share health information.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a performance status score of 2 or less, meaning fully active or able to do light work.
- Must have a diagnosis of multiple myeloma.
Exclusion Criteria
- Have an active infection that requires treatment or a serious infection within the last 14 days.
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
