The study aims to find out if combining a new drug called telaglenastat with the usual chemoradiation treatment can improve outcomes for patients with advanced cervical cancer. Researchers hope this combination will help patients live longer without their cancer progressing, compared to those who receive only the standard treatment.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Must be eligible for chemoradiotherapy, including brachytherapy.
  • Age 18 or older.
  • Diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer (specific types) at certain stages.
  • Good overall health with a performance status score of 2 or less.
  • Adequate blood cell counts and organ function as determined by specific tests.
  • No severe liver or kidney issues.
  • Not have uncontrolled diabetes or allergies to the study drugs.
  • Not breastfeeding and willing to sign informed consent.
  • No known HIV infection.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have another active invasive cancer.
  • Have had previous radiation or treatment for this cancer.
  • Taking another experimental cancer treatment.
  • Poorly controlled diabetes affecting certain scans.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Have serious health issues like heart problems or infections that could interfere with the study.
  • Have certain heart conditions or other severe health problems.
