Program Overview

Researchers are investigating a new method to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread to other parts of the body. The study focuses on pembrolizumab, a type of immunotherapy usually given through an IV. In this trial, pembrolizumab is combined with Berahyaluronidase alfa and given as an injection under the skin. The goal is to compare how the body processes pembrolizumab when administered in these two different ways.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), either squamous or non-squamous type.
  • Have at least one tumor that can be measured by scans or tests.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have small cell lung cancer or a mix of tumors with small cell elements.
  • Have already received treatment for metastatic NSCLC.
  • Have another active cancer that is growing or needed treatment in the last 3 years.
  • Have cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord.
  • Have an active autoimmune disease needing treatment in the last 2 years.
  • Have a history of lung inflammation that needed steroids or currently have lung inflammation.
  • Have an active infection that requires treatment.
