Program Overview

The purpose of this study is to see if CAR T-cell therapy can be safely given to patients with moderate to severe kidney problems. This involves adjusting the doses of chemotherapy that patients receive before the CAR T-cell therapy. The study focuses on patients with conditions like multiple myeloma, leukemia, or lymphoma who also have reduced kidney function.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients receiving chemotherapy to prepare for CAR T-cell therapy for multiple myeloma, leukemia, or lymphoma.
  • Must have enough healthy bone marrow to handle the chemotherapy.
  • Kidney function must be at or below 60 mL/min/1.73m².
  • Must be in relatively good overall health, with a performance status score between 0 and 2.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have certain brain or nervous system disorders.
  • Have an active, uncontrolled infection or any other serious medical condition that could interfere with the study.
  • Have used high-dose corticosteroids (more than 20 mg/day of prednisone or equivalent) within 72 hours before receiving CAR T-cell therapy.
