Sponsor: Ferring Pharmaceuticals

Sponsor score: 0

ClinicalTrials ID:NCT06510374

This clinical trial is testing whether the drug Nadofaragene Firadenovec is more effective than just monitoring in patients with intermediate risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (IR NMIBC).

Patient Parameters

Program Overview

The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of the drug Nadofaragene Firadenovec with simply observing patients who have intermediate risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (IR NMIBC). This is a phase 3b trial, meaning it is in the later stages of testing to determine the drug's effectiveness and safety.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Diagnosed with intermediate risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (IR NMIBC) according to specific medical guidelines.
  • Have had a complete removal of bladder tumors through a procedure called transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) within the last 60 days, with or without chemotherapy given during surgery.
  • Specific conditions include:

    • A single high-grade Ta tumor 3 cm or smaller
    • Low-grade T1 tumor
  • A second TURBT may be done if the doctor thinks it's necessary.
