The purpose of this study is to offer a personalized vaccine made from multiple peptides, combined with a substance known as XS15, to patients with advanced solid or blood cancers who do not have any standard treatment options available. The goal is to see if this combination can help manage their cancer.
Description
This study is designed to provide a personalized treatment approach for patients with advanced cancers. The treatment involves a vaccine made from multiple peptides, which are small parts of proteins, tailored to each patient's cancer. This vaccine is combined with XS15, a substance that may help boost the immune system's response to the cancer. The study aims to explore the potential benefits of this combination for patients who have no other approved treatment options available. All treatments will be conducted following ethical guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of advanced cancer.
- Have no standard treatment options available for their advanced cancer.
- Have a low amount of cancer cells in the body.
- Have a life expectancy of more than 6 months.
- Be able to understand and sign a consent form voluntarily.
- Be able to attend all study visits and follow the study requirements.
- Have a performance status score of 2 or less, meaning they are able to carry out all self-care but unable to carry out any work activities.
Exclusion Criteria
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have treatments that severely weaken the immune system's T cells.
- Have treatment-related side effects that are severe (grade 3 or higher).
- Are participating in another clinical study or have taken any investigational therapy that could interfere with this study within 2 weeks before receiving the vaccine.
- Have pre-existing autoimmune diseases, except for Hashimoto's thyroiditis and mild psoriasis that does not require treatment.
