Program Overview

The main goal of this study is to see how well the new drug ABP 234 works compared to the already approved treatment Keytruda® in patients with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of stage IV non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
  • Have not received any previous treatment for advanced cancer.
  • Have at least one tumor that can be measured by standard criteria.
  • Provide a tumor sample for analysis.
  • Be in good overall health with a performance status score of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
  • Test negative for specific genetic markers (EGFR, ALK, ROS-1).
  • Have a life expectancy of at least 3 months.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have small cell lung cancer or a mix of small cell and non-small cell lung cancer, or squamous cell carcinoma.
  • Have untreated cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord.
  • Have active immune system disorders.
  • Have received previous treatments like chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy for advanced cancer.
  • Have allergies to monoclonal antibodies or components of the study drugs.
