Program Overview
The main goal of this study is to see how well the new drug ABP 234 works compared to the already approved treatment Keytruda® in patients with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of stage IV non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
- Have not received any previous treatment for advanced cancer.
- Have at least one tumor that can be measured by standard criteria.
- Provide a tumor sample for analysis.
- Be in good overall health with a performance status score of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
- Test negative for specific genetic markers (EGFR, ALK, ROS-1).
- Have a life expectancy of at least 3 months.
Exclusion Criteria
- Have small cell lung cancer or a mix of small cell and non-small cell lung cancer, or squamous cell carcinoma.
- Have untreated cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord.
- Have active immune system disorders.
- Have received previous treatments like chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy for advanced cancer.
- Have allergies to monoclonal antibodies or components of the study drugs.
