Program Overview
Researchers are conducting a study to see if a new drug, sacituzumab tirumotecan (MK-2870), either by itself or combined with chemotherapy, can treat certain gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. These cancers are either advanced, meaning they have spread to other parts of the body, or cannot be removed with surgery. The study's main goals are to determine how safe the treatment is, how well patients can tolerate it, and how effective it is in reducing or eliminating the cancer.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Have one of the following types of cancer:
- Colorectal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread to other parts of the body.
- Advanced or metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
- Advanced or inoperable biliary tract cancer (BTC).
- Have received previous treatment for the cancer.
- Have recovered from any side effects of past cancer treatments.
Exclusion Criteria
- Have a history of severe eye disease.
- Have received any cancer treatment, including experimental drugs, within four weeks before starting the study treatment.
- Have a history of lung conditions like pneumonitis or interstitial lung disease that required steroid treatment, or currently have these lung conditions.
