Program Overview
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a new drug called BA3071 in patients with solid tumors. The study is open to patients with melanoma and specific types of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that have certain genetic mutations.
Description
This study is being conducted at multiple locations and is open to patients with solid tumors. It aims to assess how safe and tolerable the drug BA3071 is, as well as its effects on the body and its ability to fight cancer. The study is currently recruiting patients with melanoma and certain types of lung cancer that have specific genetic changes. Participants will receive the drug and be monitored for its effects and any side effects.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must have a measurable tumor that can be tracked.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must not have received CTLA-4 blocking antibody treatment before.
- Must have good kidney, liver, and blood health.
- Must be in good overall health, able to carry out normal activities with some restrictions.
- Must have specific genetic mutations in their cancer, such as KRAS, STK11, KEAP1, or low PD-L1 levels.
- Must be eligible for surgery if they have certain stages of lung cancer (Stage IIB-IIIA).
Exclusion Criteria
- Must not have serious heart problems.
- Must not have uncontrolled cancer spread to the brain.
- Must not have had severe allergic reactions to similar treatments.
- Must not have had major surgery in the last four weeks.
- Must not have HIV, active hepatitis B, or hepatitis C.
- Must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
