The study is designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a new treatment called CTX112 in patients with B-cell cancers that have either come back after treatment or have not responded to previous treatments. Description
This clinical trial is testing a new treatment called CTX112 for patients with B-cell cancers that have returned or are not responding to treatment. CTX112 is a type of immunotherapy that uses immune cells from a donor, which are then genetically modified in a lab to target cancer cells. The study is being conducted at multiple locations and aims to determine if CTX112 is safe and effective for these patients.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Have a B-cell cancer that has returned or is not responding to treatment.
- Be in good overall health, with a performance status score of 0 or 1, meaning fully active or restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory.
- Have good kidney, liver, heart, and lung function.
- Women who can become pregnant and men must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for at least 12 months after receiving CTX112.
Exclusion Criteria
- Have had a stem cell transplant from a donor.
- Have or had cancer spread to the brain or spinal cord.
- Have a history of seizures, strokes, dementia, or autoimmune diseases affecting the brain.
- Have an uncontrolled infection or one that requires IV treatment.
- Have active HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C infections.
- Have had another cancer in the last 3 years, except for certain skin cancers or other low-risk cancers.
- Are currently receiving certain cancer treatments close to the time of receiving CTX112.
- Have a primary immune deficiency or active autoimmune disease requiring treatment with steroids or other immune-suppressing drugs.
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
