Program Overview

The aim of this study is to evaluate how well a treatment called 131 I-MIBG works and how safe it is for patients with certain types of cancer, including neuroblastoma, malignant pheochromocytoma, and malignant paraganglioma, that have either come back after treatment or have not responded to previous therapies.

Eligibility Criteria

Exclusion Criteria

  • Severe problems with major organs, such as the kidneys, heart, liver, lungs, stomach, or nerves, should be mild to moderate (grade 2 or less). A more severe hearing problem (grade 3) is acceptable.
  • Ongoing serious infections that are not controlled by antibiotics.
  • Pregnant women cannot participate due to potential risks to the unborn baby. Women of childbearing age must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control during the study.
  • Inability or unwillingness to follow radiation safety procedures or study requirements.
