Program Overview

The main goal of this study is to evaluate how safe and effective the drug LY2880070 is for treating patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The study is conducted in three parts, each targeting different cancer types and conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Have a good performance status, meaning you are fully active or have some restrictions in physically strenuous activities.
  • Have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks.
  • Have good organ function based on medical tests.
  • Have received 1 to 4 previous treatments for advanced or metastatic cancer.
  • Agree to use approved birth control methods during the study and for 3 months after the last treatment.
  • Women must have a negative pregnancy test before starting the study.
  • Have tumors that can be measured by standard criteria.
  • Be considered suitable for experimental therapy by the study doctor, with no standard treatment options available.

For Part A:

  • Have advanced or metastatic solid tumors, excluding certain brain tumors.
  • For the Metabolism Phenotype Arm, have a specific genetic trait affecting drug metabolism.

For Part B:

  • Have advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer, triple negative breast cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, or pancreatic cancer.
    • For Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC):
      • Have recurrent or resistant TNBC with specific hormone receptor and HER2 status.
    • For Colorectal Cancer:
      • Have confirmed advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer.
    • For Ovarian Cancer:
      • Have confirmed advanced or metastatic ovarian cancer and be eligible for certain chemotherapy.
    • For Endometrial Cancer:
      • Have confirmed advanced or metastatic endometrial cancer and have tried at least one chemotherapy.
    • For Soft Tissue Sarcoma (STS):
      • Have confirmed advanced or metastatic STS and have tried at least one chemotherapy.
    • For Pancreatic Cancer:
      • Have confirmed advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer and have tried at least one chemotherapy.

For Part C:

  • Have high grade serous ovarian cancer and be screened for specific genetic markers.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have taken an unapproved investigational drug within 21 days before starting the study.
  • Have cancer that has spread to the brain and is causing symptoms.
  • Be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Have a positive test for HIV or active hepatitis A, B, or C.
  • Have a heart condition with a specific abnormal heart rhythm.
  • Have had a bone marrow transplant.
  • Have participated in this study before or are currently in another clinical trial.
  • Have had radiation therapy to more than 25% of your bone marrow.

For Part B:

  • Have had another active cancer within the past year, except for certain non-threatening cancers like treated cervical cancer or skin cancer.
