Program Overview

The aim of this study is to find out if local ablative therapy (LAT) can reduce small amounts of remaining cancer and help manage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread, better than traditional treatments. LAT is a treatment that targets and destroys cancer cells in specific areas.

Eligibility Criteria

Exclusion Criteria

  • No visible cancer on scans at the time of starting treatment.
  • Cancer that is only in the central nervous system (CNS), as blood tests may not detect it well.
  • Planning to use targeted treatments or not suitable for standard treatments.
  • Serious health issues that make radiation or ablation unsafe, as decided by the doctor.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women at the time of starting treatment.
  • Physical limitations that prevent undergoing precise radiation therapy.
  • Having another active cancer within the last year, except for certain skin cancers or non-invasive cancers.
