Program Overview
This expanded access program is designed for patients with cancer that involves RET activation, who are unable to participate in a current clinical trial for selpercatinib (also known as LOXO-292). If a doctor believes a patient meets the criteria for this program, they can contact the drug company, Lilly, to arrange access to the treatment.
Description
This program allows patients with certain types of cancer to receive the drug selpercatinib if they cannot join a clinical trial for it. The program is intended for those who have cancer with RET activation and have no other treatment options available or have not benefited from standard treatments. Doctors can apply for their patients to receive this treatment if they believe it is suitable.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- Have a type of cancer with RET activation and cannot join a current selpercatinib clinical trial.
- Have tried standard treatments without success, cannot tolerate them, or have no standard treatment options available.
- Have good organ function as determined by medical tests.
Exclusion Criteria
- Are currently part of a clinical trial for selpercatinib or another RET inhibitor.
- Have serious heart disease or had a heart attack in the last 6 months.
- Have ongoing heart muscle disease or a specific heart rhythm issue (QTcF interval greater than 470 milliseconds).
